Heritage United Church is looking for a full-time minister who has a willingness to work with others and a great sense of humor. The person should have strong preaching and communication skills and be able to provide a leadership to our very active ministry. You will be expected to work with the numerous group leaders to provide support and offer suggestions for new directions. Also, there will be an expectation that the minister would attend community functions, especially those that are related to or initiated by the church. It will be expected that the successful candidate will have two priorities: Regular visitation to seniors and shut-ins who are unable to attend regular church services. Also, visitation to young families who presently do not attend regular services is expected. Provide leadership to encourage more youth to be active participants in our church especially though music. We feel that music has always been an asset to our services and we would like for this to continue. Preference will be given to ordained ministers. Please read our JNAC REPORT for more information.
